(More customer reviews)The shade arrived as a more crimson color than bright red as it appears on Amazon. This actually was preferable. The shape is interesting...not a true symmetrical drum but as described. With white cardboard paper backing and hollow black metal, Laura Ashley could have easily and cheaply used real silk and potter's metal painted to look brass! The level of cheap....deplorable!
