(More customer reviews)My son is very happy with this lamp. I was not sure to buy it since the reviews weren't too good, but mine did not have any issues. The button that activates the truck is the same one it turns the light on. When you press it the first thing is the animation of the truck, but it is not instant, so the second it takes to start moving innitially made us think that something was wrong with it, but no. Then, if you press it again the light goes on, again it takes a second or so. It think although it does not take separate batteries, you only plug it to a regular outlet, the circuit must be a 12V and that might be what causes the delay. Last, the headlights of the truck are a night light feature, which is great. You turn this on on a side switch. And last, there is also a main swith to turn all of it off. Overall is great, good price and now I have a very happy son.
