(More customer reviews)After getting a washer or two...I attemepted to assemble the lampshade and lo and behold....there is a knurled knob at the finial screw post on the harp. A few turns of the knob and I was able to line up the shade and tighhten the finial down. I will bump up the stars to three...it would be higher if the craftsmanship was better. I might buy a few more.

I guess I should have clued into the quality by the price. Of course, it's made in China, so that should have been my tip off. The packing, which is styrofoam, stuck to the electrical cord...and I have to now scrape it off. As I assembled it...I discovered that the finial....the top pice that keeps the lampshade attached to the lamp, will not screw down all the way. That means the lampshade flops around. I will have to go to the hardware store and get myself a washer to make the fit tighter. I shouldn't have to do that for what the lamp cost!!
The copperfoil work or what attempts to look like copperfoil is primitve and the hardware that joins the side pieces together is rather crass.
I hope with dim lighting...no one will notice how rough this lamp is. Previously, I had ordered another lamp...a desk lamp and was happy with it. But after this purchase, I don't think I will order these lamps anymore.
