(More customer reviews)From a distance, this lamp looks great. But, the shade appears to be constructed of plastic inserts in a metal frame. The metal frame of the shade and the lamp body have been painted (poorly) with a brush--brush strokes are evident on close inspection. Before purchasing the lamp, I called the company and asked what the shade is made of and was told that it is "glass." Not true. As it is constructed, the lamp is not a great value.
