(More customer reviews)I bought this so I could see my keyboard without putting the main lights on and getting reflections and glare off my screen. Ideal, although another couple of inches of height would be nice. Enough light too to give a pool of light just big enough to read by, without dazzle.
If you want to light up the whole work surface though, this isn't it.
