(More customer reviews)I purchaesd this lamp for my living room. I have a nice square side table that I was going to put it on next to my couch. The lamp was packaged nicely and was extremely easy to put together. The first thing I noticed was that it was a little smaller than I had imagined. I did read that it was 18.5 inches tall and I thought that would be large enough for that specific table, but it just doesn't look big enough, considering the lamps I had there before. It looks very nice and elegant while still casual enough to put in any room, however make sure you measure correctly because I didn't. I love the look of the lamp and didn't want to return it so I decided to put it next to my bed on the bedside table. I love how it looks so much that just ordered another one for my hubby's side. The quality is great and the lampshade is a nice beige color. Don't expect too much light from the lamp though because of the darker shade. Works very well in the bedroom though! Overall, I am glad I bought it and the price was great! It is also not so light weight that you feel like you're going to knock it over and break it, it actually has a nice weight to it and feels very sturdy.
