(More customer reviews)When the description said the lamp was resin, I figured it was the heavy, almost ceramic-like resin used in a lot of figurines and outdoor art. In this case, resin just means plastic, and cheap looking. Also, you can sort of see it in the picture, but when the lamp is turned on at night, all you see is a round white lighted globe through the loosely woven shade. It looks much better during the day when the light is off.
Overall a huge disappointment, but amazon was good about the return,except for the $18 return shipping fee I'm out
