First when the box arrived I can feel that is a cheap made-in-China lamp, and I needed to assemble the fade. It was fairly easy but yet not very clear.
Once assembled the fade is not tightly screwed due to a design problem so it is not really centered.
Secondly the touch button was completely scratched when I opened the box.
If I can accept that on $20 lamp this is not really acceptable on a $100+ lamp.
Good surprise, the touch button can select 3 different lighting levels (dim low / dim high and full power), I didn't see that from the description.
Bottom line: the overall design is good from far away but the details are not the one you expect from an object at this price.
