(More customer reviews)Just bought a pair of these for my bedroom, and couldn't be more pleased. They are EVERYTHING I had hoped for... sophisticated, contemporary, and high quality. The reason I am giving them a 4 and not 5 is because the color. I know all monitors are different- but I was not expecting the color of the lamps to be so red. On the computer, they appear to be a rich Espresso, but what arrived was a deep cherry. My bedroom has red accents- so it actually worked out better for me- but could have been a disaster. I searched all over the web for the best price and every picture appeared to be the same. Also the lamp shade is not a true white, as appears in the picture, but a softer cream... always read the fine print. My night stands are 31 inches wide and, at 15 inches wide, these lamps sit perfectly centered. I chose them because of their height. I only have 8 foot ceilings and wanted a taller lamp to draw the eye up. At 33 inches high- they are the tallest that I could find. They are about 2.5 inches higher than my headboard. One might think the height would make the lamp a bit unstable, but that's so not the case. The lamps are a pretty substantial weight, and not at all wobbly.
These lamps are truly beautiful and have become a focal point to the room. They are worth the price- though I did find them cheaper at another site. I would definitely recommend these lamps to anyone looking to add an elegant contemporary touch to a room.
