We love the finish and details of the lamp, however the paint around the joints, particularly near the top where the lighting hardware attaches to the decorative, rounded section, came already chipping/pealing. using a paint pen to touch up resulted in some more paint pealing off. With care, we were able to touch it up and do not consider this an issue worth returning over, as it is hardly noticeable unless looking very close up.
All in all, we are happy we took a gamble and bought this lamp from online. Most in-store selections are so small and either too cheap looking or too expensive. This was just what we wanted and a great addition to our home.
