(More customer reviews)I bought two for the bedroom night stands for reading lamps. I was concerned about the small bulbs/wattage but with a flourescent, which has less wattage than the bulb included, you get more light. Just enough to read comfortably by. One of the in-line switches doesn't "click" into place when you turn it but it wasn't worth the trouble of exchanging it. The glass is quality and it's a solid piece.
