(More customer reviews)I purchased this fixture for my guest room after seeing it in a store and loving the look. The 60-watt bulbs for which it is rated do not give off much light. In addition, what is not apparent until the fixture arrives is, there's a circle of "frosted" plexiglass at the bottom, which further reduces any available light. I left out the plexiglass screen and upped the bulbs to 75 watts, and it helped. But this is still an accent light, not a good task or ambient light. I love Uttermost products and they have great style in all types of lights and mirrors. So I'm not necessarily discouraging purchase of this item, so long as you don't expect it to put out much useful light.
