(More customer reviews)I ordered this lamp for my daughters boyfriend. I was nervous about it getting here in one piece especially after reading other reviews. The lamp arrived in a box way too big to ship lamp and had barely any packing materials securing it. The box was held together by a strip of flimsy tape and lamp was rattling all around inside. Not surprised when I opened the box the lamp shade was damaged. It was torn loose from the metal shade support( thank Gosh for gluesticks) so I repaired it myself.This would be a nice gift but I would order from another company besides GoHastings like me. The packaging stunk and I would be afraid of damage. I guess you cant always go by the highest rating.
