(More customer reviews)The first one of these I got didn't work. I had to send it back for another. There is not much too the "electronics" and it is hard to understand why it didn't work. I did notice that the green ground screw on the mounting plate was missing, so that was a bad sign to start with.
The second one show up, had the green ground screw and since i had experience hanging the first one, it took less than 10 minutes for me to get this one up and working.
And it is beautiful. Everyone comments on it.
Besides the first one just not working, there is something else to note. There is a light sensor in the middle of the black plate that mounts on the wall. You can tape it, so it works like a "normal" light with on/off capabilities. But for now, I just leave the switch on and it comes on a little after dark and shuts off a little after dawn. The first non-working one I got did NOT have the light sensor.
4 stars because the first one just didn't work that tells me poor quality control. Also, I might not have ordered it if I knew it had a light sensor which is not mentioned anywhere in the description. Maybe there is a model with the light sensor listed and that is what Amazon sent me the second time. I just don't know.
