(More customer reviews)It looks GREAT lit up, and is plenty bright for its size. The lowest setting makes for a killer atmospheric effect, and the high setting is useful for actual lighting. I had it one day, and already got a compliment on it. It does seem sturdy, and well-built. The stained glass is really nice, and the blackened chrome simply rocks. My only real gripe is that the gaps between the glass allow blinding light to shine through if you don't position the glass parallel to your seating position. That means it does shine white bars on your walls & ceiling on the high setting. Probably changing to a soft bulb or CFL would help, but not sure if a CFL would work in a touch lamp.
Lamp took 10 days to ship, but came well packed with extra screws. Seeing shipping is $10 I expected it faster. It's a bit smaller visually than I expected, and looks best on a small table or computer desk. It would be a better deal if the price included shipping, but since I collect dragon stuff I suppose I can't complain. Does require some assembly with a phillips screwdriver (~15 mins). The instructions aren't of much use, but it's self explanatory. I had to chuckle at the last line "If break rules above, it might cause fire." Basically you put the glass in the shade then put the shade on so I don't see how that could cause a fire. Ahh those Chinese translations to English lol.
The lamp itself is awesome, but because it wasn't really cheap & required assembly which includes bending the tabs just right I knocked off one star. Overall, if you are willing to pay this much for a little lamp simply because you like fantasy gear you can't go wrong.

This is a new design of our 14 Inch lamps. The base has a Pewter-colored (dark gray) finish. Touching the base anywhere turns the lamp on and off and controls the 3 power settings.What makes this lamp so unique, however, is the shade. In a black metal framework are 6 panels of glass. Each panel has a picture of a large dragon. The diameter of the shade is approx. 9 inches so this is a great desk or nite lite. A 40-watt bulb is included.
