(More customer reviews)but has a slight hum when operating at low and medium speeds. Hardly noticeable at high speed. I used the new CFL candelabra base bulbs 13w=60w regular. Nice and bright and saves energy too. Oak side of the blade not too attractive but the walnut color looks great w/ polished brass. Overall a good buy so I bought another for the family room.
