(More customer reviews)I hate nightlight that you cannot turn on or off manually. I hate nightlight that gave too little light to show surrounding area. For some strange reason, my local stores did not carry manual on-off night light. I bought this particular model together with LED light replacement (http://www.amazon.com/C-Crane-BNB-Bright-Nightlight/dp/B000RLFDJA/ref=pd_bxgy_hi_img_b). The stock bulb that was included was 4 watts. The LED replacement bulb was rated as 0.85 watts. Granted, 4 watts does not seem much but I figured that having LED bulb that will not burn out and with less wattage will pay for itself in the long run.
After replacing the incandescent bulb with LED, I tried it out and by golly I finally found (for me) the perfect nightlight that is not too bright nor too dim.
