(More customer reviews)This light is attractive and well made, but it's not adjustable enough serve as a pendant light in many applications. The light comes with four bars that you use to hang it from the ceiling, a 6" bar (which must be used) and three 12" bars (none of which can be used without the 6" bar). Using the 6" bar and one 12" bar places the shade of the light just under 6' from the floor with an 8' ceiling, which places the light bulb right at eye level (very distracting). If you want to adjust the light upwards, your only option is to use just the 6" bar, which makes the light almost a semi flush mount. It's beyond me why they didn't give you few more options to use in conjunction with the 6" bar, like 8", 10", and 12" bars. This may be a common problem with fixed hanging pendant lights, but I was pretty annoyed by it.
