(More customer reviews)While I love the look of this sconce, it is cheaply made. I first bought 4 from another vendor. Although they came in 4 separate boxes via UPS, every sconce was cracked at the base. (They were not properly packed by the manufacturer.) Replacements were backordered with that vendor, so I ordered 2 through Amazon. I received one not broken (still waiting for 2nd to arrive). However, in a couple places the finish had come off, exposing white. I thought it would be made of some kind of metal but it appears to be a resin, which I think is akin to plastic. I'm still waiting for the second sconce to arrive, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed it won't be cracked. I got them on sale for only $34 at Amazon, so if I can get one more not broken I'll be satisfied. A black marker took care of the two white spots where the finish came off. But most vendors are selling this for $90 which would be a complete rip-off. I wouldn't pay more than $35 for these and even then it's probably not a value given the hassle I've gone through having wait for replacements for the first 4. Too bad, they are so pretty.
