(More customer reviews)I got two of these on sale at Lowes for $120 each. The first step was infuriating, but if it had been anything like the last step I would have boxed it up and taken back.
In the first step you install the transformers which should be no more difficult than installing any light fixture except that the screws that hold the cover on are only about 1/4 inch long. Even with a magnetic screw driver I dropped and had to search for a tiny screw about 30 times. Lucky for me there was no carpet. (Do NOT attempt this w/o a magnetic screw driver )
After spending an hour doing something that should have taken 15 minutes it was pretty much smooth sailing until it came time to install the bulbs. The bulbs are held in by the tiniest allen screws, accompanied by the tiniest allen wrench, I've ever seen- probably 1/64 of an inch. It took me an hour to get one done. Then I gave up and left the task to my wife's smaller hands. It took her about 10 minutes per bulb.
When it came time to hang the second cable, I discovered that an essential piece was missing. It was a 3/8 inch long lamp nipple. The hardware store didn't have any that short so I had to buy a longer one and cut it myself with a hack saw. Finally, when it came to the last fixture, I found I was short one screw that attaches the fixture to the cable. I still haven't resolved that issue.
So both sets are up and they look/work great, but I would not do it again or wish upon anyone.
