(More customer reviews)This lamp gives off an ample amount of light. I use it as a Computer desk lamp and to shed light on model cars I build. It does give off a few light clicks, but that is just when it is first turned on, and is caused by the expanding metals and plastics. It is to be expected with any halogen lamp since they produce a high amount of heat around they bulb. Overall this is the perfect lamp for me.
